Also noticed over the last few weeks its seems a little reluctant to start and after scanning the ABS module it came back with the fault 00688, supply voltage too low or short to earth, if i try to reset it clears but the handbrake light flashes and beeps then reflags the fault
I think im going to have to check all the connection and lugs from when the battery relocation was done, a quick search seems to point to the ground on the starter
Unless anyone else has any input on it

I have the same issue too. Let me know how you get on with sorting it :D

Its technically a motorbike helmet (doubt theres a difference between car and bike) and heavily padded so nice snug fit, 4 star safety rating and all delivered for £50

Good price that, looks sweet mate. Yeah doubt there is much difference between a bike and car helmet. They both serve the same thing so all good

looks great with the red wheels.....bet it handles like a dream
Cheers, this crap weather coupled with nearly worn out tyres means its not too good at the moment though

Would be a worthwhile investment for you too if you plan on more track time
Where did you get it from mucka?

Nice helmet mate....... ;)

I need to invest in one myself.

Get it done, worth the money when you think how much it costs to hire one

Theres fire protection in a autosport helmet and believe it or not they offer a better safety rating then motorcycle helmets but not alot

I dont think it has a sun visor, just a plain one but i bet you could buy different screens to fit
However ive not really had a problem with sun in my eyes on the days ive done

Interesting
I dont think the fire safety is too important being as im not caged so an exit should be quick and failing the the marshalls are normally quite good

I've taken my visor off on occasion, I normally take it off for use in the car, and keep it on for karting. Wait until you come over a crest or through a bend and that big fiery ball is in your eyes, it's not nice :funk:

Only does it sometimes, say 1 start out of 20.

Yes battery has been relocated. Will try and clean and earths this weekend and report back :D

Let me know if it works as mine is doing it nearly everytime now and ive been under the bonnet to check all the connectors are firmly seated
It originally started after hitting a few huge bumps the brake wear sensor light came on but would reset with ignition cycle and thought it was dodgy link in the arch.
I dont have the ABS light on but unsure if the system is working or not, may find out if it snows tomorrow though
Sound familiar?

Then i thought i'd fit my VF engineering mount
2013-01-19121237_zpsd5e0f4da.jpg

Got this far and then realised i only have part of the mount, i dont have the bar that joins the two mounting holes on the gearbox and the bolts to suit
So after a temper moment i've put my OE one back in, FFS!

I then fitted some new boost hoses ready for mapping
New one connecting charge pipe to the start of my welded I/C pipework

Then the throttle body to the outlet side of the I/C pipework, you can also make out the new MAP sensor position

So all fitted

Just need to get my new tyres fitted and inside of my wheels sanded flat now
