I still can't believe your running an OEM Map
Pushing the tuning limits (of seats code) although it should have been done about years ago
Lol me too!

Which TIP is that?
Its the SFS one
Guys, I don't suppose you know the diameter of the ports on the 007 compared to the 40mm diameter ports on the supersize?
OE DV ports and piping is 25mm whereas big turbos use 40mm as it cant get rid of the volume of air fast enough
Where are you gone on the 25th for your map?

Off to Bill's for a temporary stage 2 and being the trial car for the gear based boost

Sounds good I've decided to get a DP a sports cat fitted a go stage 2 as soon as I can. I'd head down to Bills as well if I lived closer.

Been thinking again which can be dangerous so....
Is anybody running an alloy radiator?
I know i need an oil cooler especially when on track but being as the OE setup transfers heat from the oil to the coolant and uses the rad surely a larger and more efficient rad would help
If this was coupled with getting a cool running stat this should help even more
Its not a substitute for an oil cooler but should help until this is done and i might be able to get the rad cheap
Any thoughts from anyone??

Hopefully will be enjoyable drive home
Bill, im not sure on ECU number, im assume the only way to check is get the scuttle panel off and check the ECU
As far as the rad goes, you'll have to wait and see

Ok been out with the laptop and my ECU is 032A
The fault code causing me limp mode is 17963 which is charge pressure exceeded, i think someone explained why this would happen before but seems to happen at 200g/s
Also noticed over the last few weeks its seems a little reluctant to start and after scanning the ABS module it came back with the fault 00688, supply voltage too low or short to earth, if i try to reset it clears but the handbrake light flashes and beeps then reflags the fault
I think im going to have to check all the connection and lugs from when the battery relocation was done, a quick search seems to point to the ground on the starter
Unless anyone else has any input on it

Little off topic from your conversation but were you at the NEMM christmas cruise a few weeks back at Teesside Park? Black Cupra R there with same colour wheels and red tow strap on front.

Any fluttering at all? The N75 valve likes to cause the 17963 code. Have you checked all the vac pipes around that area espcially the one which goes from the N75 to actuator? Might not be this but worth a check I guess

No fluttering, or havent heard felt any
I think Wild Willy did explain why it only happens at the top of the rev range
All the piping seems ok but i'll double check everything before heading to Bill's, i still have the N75 off the S3 so i can always take that with me as a spare
