Since you have bought the IHI flanged mani I won't mention Garretts. For the record ceedubya made 375bhp with a TD05 18G. This is the turbo I'll be fitting to mine. What I found very impressive was it hits full boost (30psi spike on his) at 3500rpm. ie very good street turbo in my opinion with a nice wide power band. I've had my TD05 apart and measured the exhaust A/R at 0.50. His one doesn't surge as far as I know. You will need bigger injectors. I'm fitting siemens 630cc items to mine as I have the AGU head with longer injectors. Not sure what type you'll need.
You will need an inline uprated fuel pump. Bosch 044 or walbro 255. Fit an LCR intank pump as well to be sure.
TD05 housing water cooling inlet and outlet thread is 14mm if that helps. Stock oil outlet from the k03 fits the TD with just a slight elongation of the holes. Stock k03 oil inlet pipe fits too with the correct banjo bolt. You'll need to make a new air inlet pipe for the compressor, but that's just a case of getting the right silicone bends. Compressor inlet on the 18g is 60mm. I don't know what it is on the 16g. My 18g is also from scooby clinic.
