put my old milltek box back on lol. may be mod the milltek box inside to convert into a single pipe, not really sure tbh. all i know is, the new box isnt staying

hello all. here is some videos of my new exhaust. now im not keen on it as you all know, just to loud and droney for me





on a brighter note, here is a pic of my intake temps on sunday morning. look at the dash and you will see 3c and look and my vi gauge and it says intake 5c, this pic was taken when in traffic. pretty impressive i think when booting it the most i have seen is 25c.

Quite difficult to gauge noise from videos, but it doesnt sound that bad

its saxo loud lol. on the first video revs only went upto 2.5k as my baby sister (10 months ) was asleep indoors. you can just make out my mrs telling me off at the end

Extra silencer added then?
If you find it loud driving as it is now dont ever run with no back seats or carpets as its surprisingly loud if you do
Going to attempt to drive mine to exhaust place with only downpipe when the BT goes on

Sam, the exhaust note might change, get it good and hot and let it sut up over the next few days.

Thanks rob, my car did sound like yours and thats how i liked it. I only changed as i hated the old milltek tail pipe. I asked for my new system to be no louder but i didnt get that.

Loving this car mate, cant wait to get some time off work and mod mine (simmilar to yours but not). Do you an upper strut brace? if so what one do you use?

All the talk about the custom exhaust is making me worry! Because Im going for a twin exit, the spare wheel gets in the way for the silencer on the second tailpipe. He asked me how loud I want it, I gave him a rough idea, and he said it may be tricky to get it how I want it. He said it will be a bit louder. I hope its not too loud!

update

hello all, just thought i would post my latest goodie
its the new version relentless manifold. (will be doing a full review)

i have to say the quality between this new version and the old one is night and day. flanges are flat, welding is spot on and the quality of stainless steel seems better. really looking forward to fitting and seeing how much power can be gained. i have also ordered a few other parts for my engine rebuild. i have the very fancy IE timing belt kit , oem rod bearings and gaskets on the way. Milltek exhaust should be with me tomorrow
