Sam, any chance of some pictures of the internal inlet/outlet of the IC.Does it have air guides?

Ive got my dipstick too from them.. just havent fitted it as i dont know if you need to cut your old handle thing off?..

hello all. today i fitted my new apexi fmic and custom pipe work. i also fitted a forge map pipe and wished i did this ages ago seeing as i have owned it over a year lol. i was meant to start my wmi install but could work out where i was going to fit it, i have decided im going to make a fancy box in the boot for the wmi kit now. at least this way maintenance will be much easier. anyway i started work on the car at 8 this morning and the car was totally frozen, my mrs thought i was crazy and guess what shes right .
anyway here is a few pics from today.
i will be finishing up tomorrow and hopefully install my old boost gauge.
this is the old fmic that will be up forsale on ebay with some other goodies

I was thinking about that map pipe when I had mine in pieces but couldn't figure out what difference it would actually make apart from looking better. What difference does it make.

Looking good mate. It'll be interesting to hear how well the new FMIC performs. Catch can coming off anytime soon?
also to add. my new vi performance gauge is now in and working well. not really had much of a play but it really is a quality item. so clear and easy to use. everything you do is backed up on its memory. the screen quality wins it for me over the liquid gauge.
I was very surprised it was plastic when I took it out at just how crappy it was, I may have to invest, mostly cause I'm a poser and I think it looks better, if anyone could see it haha.

thanks rich, i will let you know how well it performs. ah yes the catch can. well i was waiting for a new to be made but the guy has gone AWOL. haven't seen or heard from him for months now
. it could be a long wait so if you want to get another then thats ok with me. i can give you the plans from mine if you like. also i can give you the details from the guy who made mine as i sure hes back at work now.haha, waher bottle came out as i was plumbing my outlet for the wmi kit, now im fitting in in the boot with its own tank.
