hello all. not really much to update. i thought i would share my results from rolling road day at badger 5.

i didnt get the results i was hoping for altho the car feels amazing on the road atm. my car is running pretty healthy and dyno runs were very consistant. pulling 225gs on the rollers which is very good but intake temps of over 50 degrees killed any chance of making big power. torque is good and holds on which is great.

logs, high gs and intake temps in red

anyway since intake temps are struggling i have ordered a new intercooler setup :) bigger with a fancy fin design to help cool things down. i think the the latest mods have caused more airflow but with more heat so i think the tx cooler cant cope.
by the way i wont spill on the cooler yet as im probably the first on scn to try it out, when it arrives i will get the pics up :D
sam

just to add, i have also bought a low profile trolly jack :)

Not overly bad results consider IAT's
ps. I also have a cooler coming that no-one on the leons are running yet, maybe SCN so will be interesting to see what you have coming too

Nice graphs Sam. Before the weeks through i'll be posting mine too.
On the intercooler discussions my proalloy one was running a max of 40 degrees on the same day so gains to be had by uprating for sure, however the TX intercooler is certainly an improvement over stock.

Yeah imi sure there are gains to be made as shown by previous runs. My intake temps on the day are the highest i have seen on my car. Lets hope the new cooler helps. Also carl im looking into hybrid and wmi :) im also interested in your mbc :)

New cooler eh? When are you hoping to be testing that out? Also what are you doing with the TX?
Hi ben. Yeah new cooler on its way woop woop. It should be alot better than my tx. I have promised my tx cooler to a close friend of mine.

The tx has been spot on until these runs. It could be down to boost holding longer and keeping things too warm.
When logging on the road intake temps get up to 35. Thats 20 degree difference between road and rollers.
Robbie wmi and hybrid are on the cards ;)

I may have to stay out of your thread Sam if this is the case, or your going to end up making me spend a fortune;). I've been thinking of this since it was last on the rollers, definately going to get my rods done in the future.

Looking forward to seeing this progress over the winter, its going:D to be awesome

hello all. as some of you may know i was expecting a nice shiney package to arrive, and guess what it has.
the only trouble is, they sent the wrong size:( im pretty gutted and its come across the world to get here.
the core is 60cm shorter than the one i ordered. im in 2 minds atm, should i just keep it or send this one back and get the bigger one?

heres a few pics, hope you jap fans like this as im pretty sure i will be the first scn member to run one of these :D
