on the edge of reason
hi mate, thanks for the link last night.
i'm hoping to be going stage 2 sometime very soon so i think i'll just have the light mapped out... if thats the cause of the light being on!
also at the bottom of your dp you have a metal hanger, did you have to find some where to hang it or should there be a hanger on the car as standard?
i'm sure my dp does't have a hanger.

Yeah it was spinning me out for ages, just had a few general questions mate. Bought my Cupra R few months back now, havent really done any modifcations as yet, just been spending money on parts that wear wearing abit on the car. Ive been stumped as what to do with my front lights, saw from your pics your lights looked really clear and new, wear as mine look abit worn and aged, any advice on that one??

what about bulbs for your lights sam, i tried some xenon bulbs from a car modication place down in torbay they were rubbish though i wanted a much brighter white. What mods have you done to your lights?? where they as clear as when you bought the car or have you done work??

i have fitted a aftermarket hid set, just like this

i went for the h7 as this is what leons use, and for colour i went 6000k, white light with a tint of blue.

thanks mike, means alot when comments like that come from you :)
the scorpion decat wont fit, as aaron said the scorpion decat is a twin pipe, the blueflame dp and decat is single 3"pipe. however piper do a uprated twin down pipe that should fit the scorpion decat :)

works out cheaper to buy a 3" setup tbh. look

i would buy the miltek 3" kit myself.

Cheers mate.. Another job to get done over winter now

looking sweet as ever!
now you have both which would you say has given the better gains the 3" TIP or the Downpipe?

and can you remember what black you used on you front "S" Seat badge? you seem to get a good match to the grills

nice goodies

hello all, what a nice day today. i had some goodies turn up.
first is my dm forged rods

i was looking at liquid gauges but i dont like the quality of them, so my mrs bought me a vi performance gauge but its for my birthday. im very excited to get my hands on it. does all the stuff of a liquid gauge plus more, touch screen and built in memory for 500 hours of logging and other data. i will be making a mount for it so that it fits in place of the ashtray.

CLICK FOR FULL SPEC

so im one happy dude. anyone have any ideas for making a mount for the gauge???

thanks tom, i got the rods from ina. a friend of mine was in the usa, so i bought the rods and had them sent to his villa. this saved on postage and no import tax. £240 all in :) probably saved well over £100 this way

Nice rods, any plans on an install date on them yet?
I should be having some of these arrive too but with a crank and pistons too
