Nice piece of hardware, whats the cut out on the bolt hole on the collector for though??
Shiny, shiny

thanks m8, its truly a work of art. not to sure why they cut that out, its pretty tricky to fit so it must be to help in some way. if the head is coming off then it will make no difference. just a wild guess

So if the heads coming off is anything being done to that?
1 piece exhaust valves?? porting and gas flowing while your doing rods??

no just the rods and replacing oem parts with oem. i have no plans for going bt. my plan is max out the K04 then go hybrid. i have wmi so that and the mani should work well together :)
i may look into having the inlet mani ported but not sure yet. i dont think at the level of tuning im going for, porting isnt that important.

Not considering the 1 piece exhaust valves as the OE ones are know to fail
Broken exhaust valves were the reason i managed to get my BT kit

They could be ok on OE rev limit but many maps extend this and if your going hybrid it would be a shame to have to limit it.
I think the guy i got the kit from had them go at 7.2k rpm
I know Phillc has them for his rebuild

hello all, just thought i would post my latest goodie :)
its the new version relentless manifold. (will be doing a full review)
pics

i have to say the quality between this new version and the old one is night and day. flanges are flat, welding is spot on and the quality of stainless steel seems better. really looking forward to fitting and seeing how much power can be gained. i have also ordered a few other parts for my engine rebuild. i have the very fancy IE timing belt kit , oem rod bearings and gaskets on the way. Milltek exhaust should be with me tomorrow :)

that xs mani looks much much better

nice update :)

hello all. time for a update and getting closer to the rebuild.
firstly i will start with my new exhaust system (new milltek) this is my 3rd system now, i hope i like this one

i had a few parts arrive in the post today, rod bearings, timing chain gasket set and engine rebuild lube.

i also order the following parts

supertech exhaust valves

IE timing belt kit with the bling red bit

arp head bolt set

oem water pump and oil pump.

all i need to order now is a full gasket kit and piston rings, iirc.
