I can see it now, a very confused Maz looking at pipes on the floor then staring in the engine bay...
thinking to himself "Now which one goes where, i was never good at this" lol

Hopefully if i get the company I'm talking to into doing it, i should have one continous pipe run... only silicon ends to clamp onto the OE parts.
But thats way into after summer, the cost and time to build it seems to be the biggest concern for the company!
So be good to see what Maz and you pat, get with the silicon bends and straight alloy pipes... i think the sound will be slighty different between them, one all hard pipe, to hard pipe and soft bends.
I think the hard pipes are easier on mine as the engine is so pinned down with the mounts, bushes and stiffening, not much if any movement to cause concern on having a complete hard pipe system.
the only real issue is fabricating something out of one piece with all the twists and turns required.
Also on the 150 with a full alloy pipe in one piece will you be able to manouvre it down through the engine to the intercooler with all the bends etc?
Thats the reason the company I'm talking to is got the problem, do they fix it on the engine, or remove the engine/crashbar, body panels to do it, hence arguements on price have happened, problem is, only way they know is to do it, and it seems i have to bite the bullet and hope its not going to be the most expensive cost and somewhere in the middle
Pat, any more news on the pancake replacement pipe? Is it going to be fully round? Got any taster pics yet
No - it won't be fully round, it will be similar to the current shape just a bit taller and a bit wider and without the stupid OEM clips that snap and fall apart!
How comes it wont be round mate?? surely they can make it round for slightly better airflow
that will be better if its less restrictive is it going to be made out of silicone or metal?
