Totally agree, so much for premium car feel, shocking really.
Yep i have been looking at the 150bhp one and the asking price really is a joke new even more so if its still glitchy

still 10k off brand new ones is a start only another 10k to go

Well it may be the AC was triggered up during the washing process. Depends whether opening the door on proxy also starts up the ignition. I know mine if you light press ignition starts up the AC, two hours of that and it would flatten the battery. Think too early to draw conclusions without knowing what was actually running with two hours of the car unlocked without the alternator running. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt pending further diagnosis and testing.

Loving it. Still taking it steady but it's a stunning car in my opinion (yes I'm biased 😉). Worth a test drive for sure but once you have you'll want one for sure!

Shame there is an inconsistency with dealers still.

Keep us posted if you get one.
Just catching up with your new motor, very nice and congratulations. I’m toying with the idea of letting my beloved Cupra R ST go and getting the 333ps VZ3 Tourer. Can I ask if your car attracts the £425 expensive car supplement.

Needs altering.
Unlikely to change.

Increasing numbers of EVs sold, so revenue...

And EVs are now charged VED too (or will be from April). Was always on the cards, as if everyone switched to EVs, would be a massive drop in revenue.

Fiscal drag on cars as well. Ought to be put up, luxury tax. Anybody would think a car is a luxury...

Another upgrade that really should have been standard.

Battery fully charged and drove for the first time today and all seems fine again thankfully.
@Syphon

I’m also having low battery issues ever since collecting the car. Mine is an ex-dealer demonstrator so I put it down to lots of short trips and people playing with the infotainment system etc. Could be wrong though. Could be defective like yours was.

I’m going to try my charger to see if the problem is elevated. Could you tell me where you attach the negative clamp from the charger please?

You get rogue batteries on the cars these days, not that my diesel has a big juicy heavy duty one fitted. Overheard hybrid conversations at the weekend of having to keep them on charge after eight days. Not Vag platform thou.

Sorry for the delay, the tech told me to attach it here. Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks so much for taking the time to help. That negative charge point position is very helpful. Batteries in cars are odd. Some cars say to clip positive and negative in the usual way (positive to red terminal and negative to black terminal). However some batteries won’t charge if you do this. My wife’s Toyota for example. Some cars recommend clipping the negative to metalwork somewhere in the engine bay. However they never specify where. So your picture is dead helpful.

Will let you know how I get on 👍🏻
