Obligatory car park shot. Fitted a dashcam the other week. I had a trip to London at the weekend, so I'm about to hit 800 miles on the clock.

Remote key fob distance is pants; you have to be right next to the car and sometimes press the button a few times.

I seem to recall some owners had issues with unlocking cars in some car parks - possibly signal issues. But generally only affected specific spots?
Or maybe just needs a new keyfob battery?!

Thanks. It's the same outside anywhere I am and it's a brand new key so wouldn't have thought it was the battery. I'll try the second key (which I haven't done yet) though.

Still need to lock it though or does yours auto lock? The press cars do but I'm sure they've got extra security tech. Mine doesn't.
Presume your auto unlocks when you approach... this was a coding mod on Atecas but they might have implemented it. To lock if it's like the original kessy you just cover the dimple area on the handle, the back of your fingers and touch. That normal kessy lock unless disabled though some menu setting. Suspect it will lock by touch if you do that and you got it unlocking on proxy.

Normal kessy open and lock without proximity opening is just grip the handle, lock is back fingers, touch on the dimple you see on the handle.

There are diagrams... may be they changed it somewhat.

Nb. Found the manual for your car... B you touch to lock, no key fumbling. Just standard kessy if it's like manual.
