I pick it up locally from eBay sellers. Postage is normally expensive as it is by a specialist courier due to the hazardous nature of meth.

Its the same kit mate but i wouldnt need the tank or fitting so it will only cost £279.99 for kit + £6 for switch + postage, the guy seems to be very helpful so i will see if i can get dscount for 2 kits for me and horace

i was well impressed with the guy. He really wanted the custom as well. Couldnt have asked for a more helpful bloke. Nothing worse than garages who take ages to return calls or emails etc

Si, Jabba are UK distributors for snow performance WMI kits, and Kev down there certainly knows what he's doing.

i dont doubt that for a second, hence why they would be my first choice for mapping the car to run WMI. however the labour charge for fitting at jabba was huge in comparison to this company which is why i started asking questions

Its certainly an involved job:

-Making the hole in the washer tank and fitting/sealing the tap into it.
-Mounting the pump in a certain position, mines behind the passenger fog light, I think jabba made up a mount for it.
-Installing wiring, adding a switch/fuse and wiring to the controller, pump, signal source (MAF orMAP)and electrical supply
-Drilling hole into throttle body pipe before throttle body.
-Finally connecting all the tubing together in a neat way.

I think id drive down to jabba get them to fit it and then stop in at Revo HQ on the way up to log and sort out the settings :D

Id prob go for the snow performance one as it does seem more suited to the 2.0t from what BSH were saying in that thread although that might be just company polatics coming into play ;).

I would, except I cant be arsed with the long drive to be honest Rob, and we are flat out of people to trust to do it up this way. Some company would make an absolute killing if they had an Awesome GTi/Jabba type place that were actually enthusastic about modifying VAG cars up in Scotland. You guys dont realise how lucky and spoiled for choice you are 'dan saff :cartman:

its not something id trust myself to do, i know that.

The question is which is best to have it set up. MAF or boost

the way i see it, on a MAF log the value increase along the entire rev range, so the higher the MAF reading, the higher the signal and more Meth that will get pumped it.....sunds good.

but boost peaks alot earlier and then will tail off. Also torque peaks at say 3500rpm which would likely be the worst case scenario for bending something. So in that case id say the boost actuated system is the one to go for as the peak flow of W/M will likely be when the toque peaks on the car.

after exchanging emails a while back reference which its to go for with BSH, the yank guys there advised me to look into boost actuated, as the headache it causes to setup the MAF kit isnt worth the minimal improvments it gives. They said boost was so easy to install in comparison

I was actually just thinking out loud wasnt meaning you that would be far to far to drive for just fitting wmi, but would make sence for most of us ;). Then we could pass on the settings to you two ;).

I agree you should definitely travel down to do it asap:cartman: then get your GIAC map tweaked on the way back up

MAP kit can be done in your old mans garage though Owen, no? Haggle is the man for the nuts and bolts, and with your wiring skills and my VAGCOM ing skills, we would be sorted :)

Revo wont need set up other than logging with various settings. You will need another new map Owen, and that wont be a weekend job :(

i would need to get a new file put onto the controller to advance timing for the WMI, then i could just swap back to the Extreme + file when meths has ran out
