Gave the Leon a much needed clean and re-sealed my leaking rear light.

After washing

Removed the F1 stickers from the back window.

Before

After

One to show how the wheels are spaced

When taking the rear light off to inspect it for leaks I used a heat gun to dry it out, but it also loosened the glue on the lens. They actually look very nice without the lenses. Debating whether to take them off all the lights for something different.

On the car

And a couple more to finish

Had the read drivers side door module come today from Dave, due to having this week off and to cut a long story short, me and Dave was talking about the better delivery days, he promised me Monday and it was flawless!

I can't thank him enough, but what topped it off was this lovely message for the couriers personally from Dave himself haha! [B)]

Search bolternatives on Facebook, there's a group. I just messaged the guy on there his name is Kevin I think, not sure he always has everything in stock all the time but if there was enough interest he'll do a run. Payment by PayPal.

I have a spare set in green with "Leon Cupra" on sent out in error, he said to just keep them so if anyone wants them just drop me a PM and you can have them for the postage.

Been to TPS and bought a new G31 sensor (also known as MAP/IAT sensor). Fingers crossed this will see the car run properly and make more power as it should.

Will fit tonight after the gym if it's light enough.

If you're going to the gym, i can't see a G31 sensor being that heavy?

Haha - I did mean day light.

Anyway, attempted to fit the sensor Wed and Thurs nights. Wednesday couldnt be done as ETKA shows the sensor on the incorrect boost pipe, and last night I couldn't do it as access to the sensor is very tight due to the air con unit so I need a set of hose clip pliers and I'll just take the boost pipe off and do it that way.

Finally managed to change the G31/IAT sensor on the Leon today. Was a bit of a ball ache to do due to restricted access all round.

My hose clip pliers arrived this morning so I set about it even though I'm full of cold.

Back on the ramps, undertray off small 90 degree boost pipe off, then the nightmare of trying to take the black plastic pipe off which houses the sensor. Access is very tight and one of the two screws which secure the pipe to the sump so I tried another way.

Long story short I ended up persisting with the restrictions and got all the screws out and just removed the boost pipes as one piece.

Once I'd done this it was pretty straightforward.

Few photos of the work.

This is the pipe which houses the sensor

New and old

This one comes off to take the whole thing off in one and is a pita to get back on by itself which is why I did it the long way lol.

Everything together including the new sensor

Glad I won't have to do this again whilst I own this car lol.

Newly aquired Cupra K1 (Friday)
Rear wheels swapped sides to track down droning at 20-30mph Identified poor tyre wear on one, the other is 7mm.
Droning much reduced after swapping sides, so replaced worn side with space saver and drone itradicated. New tyre to order tomorrow.

DIverter valve removed and all good. Latest version G.
Air filter checked and OE SEAT type is in there. K&N or Green Filter to order tomorrow.
