What did you and your MK2 do today?

Bought some engine oil & rear discs and pads from ECP using their 31% off offer.

Rear brakes need doing desperately as they haven't been changed in around 4 years...

Not today but last night I had a drive of a 335i estate the bi-turbo model with 306bhp standard. This one was mapped to around 370-380bhp. Was very impressive I have to say.

Making me want a change of cars haha......I definitely need petrol in my life again.

On another note I've just taken receipt of a Citroen Cactus as a hire car for my drive back from Weymouth. Swapped the Renault Trafic van I had off Enterprise.

Yeah it went very well indeed, just would of liked a longer stretch of road to see what it could really do haha.

I think I would end up the same after a year or so as the wife wants a baby in the next year or so....

I would just like something a little more tune-able than the FR.

I took all my wheels off removed the crap centres, cleaned all the insides of the wheels up only to realise then I'd bought the wrong size wheel centres to replace them

Changed the rear discs and pads today.

They certainly needed it as there was nothing on the pads and the discs were rusted to bits. First side took ages as the disc was stuck on the hub, but the second side was done in 30 mins.

Also topped the oil up as it was getting a little low.

I could do with a new locking wheel nut as it has seen better days.

Got some centre caps that fit now! Also the bolt covers have been removed to paint before going back on.

Gutted my DPF and had it mapped today! The difference is unreal! So much better to drive power delivered solid through every gear! Wish I had done it sooner now :D

No more regens ;)

Where did you have it mapped? Mine needs to go back now I've sorted the G31/MAP sensor issues.

i know thank god! i went to a place called velocity tuning who use top gear tuning data/maps, pretty good and i'm impressed tbf i said from day 1 i'd go to narco for dpf delete and map, but did the dpf delete with a mate and blanked the EGR as i needed the money elsewhere as we've just had an offer on an house accepted haha
