mines failed today :(........on bloody side light bulbs, forgot to put the standard ones back in! AC tried to charge me £24 to replace them and i refused to pay lol, told them i would come down and fit them myself, in the end they agreed to only charge for the bulbs so £1.76 extra onto the bill and i passed my MOT. On a side note, i now am sick of my car as it turns out my gearbox has to come out again because it is making a noise and leaking oil also the rear shock supports need replaced and i will be without my car for another two days and cant get a courtesy car cos im under 21 [:@] roll on next year when i can change my car!

PS Hope all goes well for you tomorrow!

you mean you had no sidelights in? Well that is your own fault then! Sorry to hear your having issues no nothing about 1.4s no that common on here so not aware of them problems.

no had LED ones in but forgot to put the old ones in last night

Mine has passed 2 MOT's now with LED's and HID's... try another testing centre next time! There's nothing wrong with LED's as long as they're white. Before I put mine I even checked with the traffic police and they said they where fine.

In fairness to RF I have heard of some test centres who have failed cars with LED sidelights. Obviously others don't. It must just be a rather anal test centre that you take your car to mate! Try another one.

All the best with yours Scott.

Arnold Clark had a promotion on for MOT's so i went there plus i had to get my car looked at for yet more problems. They were going to fail me on the leds (that were white btw :wtf:) but i was'nt long on telling where to go if they were going to fail me haha. So annoying cos i just fitted them last week and they were good quality ones as well!

no i was quite worried about what other problems they were going to find tbh, so i forgot to ask them to leave them in the car  Got another set anyway.

Scott, i am sure your car will be looked after at Ingrams since your bro works there!
