Lower brace is an OMP honda integra (DC2) front upper brace, i think demontweaks is now the only UK seller too @ roughly 100quid

Replaced the thermostat as the last one was stuck open so temp would drop at speed
Interior has been dried out and refitted but havent reset the airbag light with vagcom yet
Also ordered my new bushes for wishbones even though i poly already
I've opted for the spherical bearing in the rear and the new black series for the front and some new ball joints too
Been dropping onto the A3 when i have time, interesting seeing differences between it and my leon
On top of that also have a 50% share in a leon cupra thats being broken, so all in all busy times

Even though i have poly bushed wishbones i've decided to go a step further and more extreme
So front wishbone is powerflex's black series race bush

The rear bush i've gone for the race use, based on a spherical bearing but with a bush internally for some flex

Thought i'd also put some fresh ball joints on to as a freshen up as they are still the original ones

So i'll get these installed in my spare set of wishbones and report back once fitted

Yep, just over £20 each ball joint
I've guessimated the torque setting for now mate from the cap next to it, been turning the engine over nicely but think a faulty cam position sensor is stopping it from firing into life

Had another busy week, did my wishbones which i must be getting quick at now, 1 and a quarter hours to remove all 4 bushes and install new ones.

The race use bushes/bearings installed (nearly 10 tonnes to push them in though) it is also stated that the outer casings can be welded into place but i decided that they are firmly enough in place for me
Also been breaking a cupra with seal, without people asking for parts i thought id show how about 2 days work have gone

I would also say to people who arent so hands on to try to help or get invovled in big strip down jobs, its amazing how much you can learn by taking things apart to see how and why they work, ive learnt so much since i started using this site about 5 years ago
