Cheers guys :) yeh bmx is going on the roof rack and have some interesting extra mad ideas which is going to turn the whole car on its head.

Try and picture a 'clean rat' look. Mad concept but i'm trying too see if i can make it work. fingers crossed!!!

should look good if you pull it off mate, so does that mean a rusted bonnet or sticker bombed front wing on the cards.

Do you know what vinyl this was? it looks to be a great match for the plastic at the bottom of the bumper. I'm hoping to do a similar thing, have you any more pics?

How easy was it to do?

Wouldn't know where to begin!

Haha not gunna lie it was a nightmare. Unless you know how to get the rear bumper off its a two person job.

However buy enough for a few tries (around £5) an give it a go. Heat the number plate up and use a plastic tool to get the stick tabbs off the back. Then use some removal fluid to get rid of the sticky residue. Clean and prep surface and then apply vinyl from center outwards doing one half at a time heating and stretching it as you go.

This was the first thing i have ever wrapped so it isnt perfect but was enjoyable to do in the good weather :)

I have pressed plates in holders so easy to unscrew off :p

Sounds ok though, wouldn't do it anytime soon though. Probably after august as a bit busy up till then. Should be ok-ish to do I would of thought...i say anyway lol.

pink fogs

Ok yet again think im loosing my sanity here. Car is going down a totally different route now so watch this space. If the pink didnt offend you before when the car is finished it def will.

Latest mod is pink tinted fogs. Think it brings the front of the car together more but we will see if they stay :)

Random post, but I was telling my Mum about meeting you on the way up to GTI and was saying about your car...mentioned you had pink wheels. Her reaction;

"Oh my god really, take pictures!" hahaha.

Looks absolutely MINT!!! VERY impressed!!
I am clearly a fan of mad coloured wheels, and the blue and pink do go well together.. Was going to do pink myself, but decided against it and went baby blue..

Anyways mate!! Car looks FRESH!! :love:
