Ok well i used a screw driver first to get the rivets up a little bit then the hook on the back of a hammer used for pulling nails out to get then completely off. You do really have to force them and then pull the old grill off. Take your time and nothing will break but the rivets are dirt cheap from seat if they do break :)
Appreciate it! Just got my grill fitted today - the expanding rivets were definitely the hardest bit, both getting them out and then back in again! Cheers!

Start getting use to the impulse buying :p

I need a shorter aeriel...I just can't get mine off lol.

I had the same problem getting my aerial off..

BUT there's a video online of someone taking it off if you google it and it helped me - hold the aerial base with your left hand, then with your right hand hold towards the bottom of the aerial and slowly rock it side to side while lifting up...

It'll probably take a few attempts...I remember giving up multiple times

Can't believe I've missed this car, just went though the thread and thought it had some decent progress, then the pink wheels make it look epic, nice job :D

It was marmite before the pink wheels :)

Haha yeh well it seems that everyone who is into car culture and the modifying scene like it however other people dont understand it. Just today i had some corsa drive past me and said what the **** have you done to it. I just smiled loving the fact he felt the need to express his opinion :)

Looks awesome inside!

Don't think you saw in my thread, but I asked if you were still on for the convoy up to GTI?
What roads will you be using?
