Hi everyone, i ordered my brand new seat Ibiza anniversary edition and I’ve only just realised after scrolling through some photos of Ibizas for sale that it doesn’t come with an armrest for the front seats??? Very stupid for a supposedly top spec car! Is there a solution to this? Like a genuine part I can buy and install, my car is leased so I can’t go around drilling into things, I need it to be removable so I can give the car back without it. Also my cars build date is week 46 confirmed. Im wondering if any experts out there can tell me if I have a good chance to receive the car before the new year. I was told early to mid December but I’m hearing some people nightmares on how they’ve been waiting for ages for their car. Thanks in advance! Attached below is an image of what the dealership sent me when I asked for an update.

You can buy a new genuine front centre armrest for the Ibiza from forum sponsor @COX Motor Parts. There are two types; one with a cloth covering and the other with an artificial leather (vinyl?) covering. Links including part numbers below;

You should be able to get a forum discount off the price from Cox Motor Parts - see below;

Alternatively, I’ve seen used genuine armrests on eBay, so if you search on the part number (click on the links I’ve posted above for the part numbers) you may well find a good used one cheaper.

I would expect fitting these armrests wouldn’t involve drilling additional holes but I don’t know for certain.

If you purchase OEM armrest it fits with no hole drilling and all fitting included..takes around 15-30minutes to fit and a solid feel
