only the Cupra 2 which didn't come to the UK and a few of the 1.6 Sport did. You sure it was a Ibiza G60 or G40? Only G60 I know of and it isn't in the UK, G40 is local to me but I know he's had a few running problems.

And for the "best colour" which ever colour you like!

im sure it was a g60 2.0 8v they took out of a golf.

A g60 engine is a 1.8 8v
That must have been just a 2.0 8v which was then supercharged
What colour was it by the way?

Only g60 that I know of is Zero in Portugal (IIRC)
Might be others that don't come on forums etc, but I doubt it

If it was the purple one then you way off... that's a 1.8 16v

Yeah he was off a bit, look for a thread on here, it's got a lot wrong, bottom ends messed, the pulleys need to be sorted (as at higher revs it is causing the alternator to overheat, breaking the supercharger pulley) as you need a smaller percentage pulley

If you buy it, you will spend the same amount as a mk3, so save up and just buy one of them!
As insurance will shaft you if you are young mate

I'm sure the Mk3 20vT is just one insurance group higher than the 16v...... 16v is group 14 and the 20vT is 15.
