In your remote programming attempt you did not say you actually turned the key ,locking unlocking the door, whilst depressing the open button.

Try that,good luck.

Ok, so apparently the reason my remote won't work is due to being the wrong one. I have part number HL0 1J0 959 753 N. But I am looking on Ebay and there is a key that should work, part number HL0 1J0 959 753 A but it also says that its the same part number as mine. (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Key-Remote...67QQihZ005QQcategoryZ9889QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) So I ask the question, if they are the same part number (?) why won't mine work?

HL0 1J0 959 753 N this key is for forign markets where they use a different ccm

dont think boot release works as its programed to open with passenger door, thats why standard key is only two button,

press and hold the boot key and the boot will unlock and the alarm will disarm. open boot (take stuff out/in) shut boot and it will lock and rearm the alarm.

it is a feature that is biult into the mk4 ibiza same as the fabia has it but for some reason (maybe the 2 button fob is cheaper) seat only give us a 2 button standard key.

get a new transponder (there is a link to a shop that sells them somewhere) and find an auto locksmith to get your skc or you get your skc from the dealer.

or depending on your area and car someone on here may be able to help by reading you skc

sorry to be a pain but if i get my skc and a new transponder how likely is it that an auto locksmith can make the thing work thanks
