as above sorry to wake this thread up again. Just bought a ibiza 2008 1.4tdi which came with 2 keys. one with remote and other manual. Want to ket poss 2 flip ones. Anyone advice this neewby the best route?

hi guys,
i bought the correct item for my seat ibiza 2007 1.4 petrol
1J0 959 753 AG
i have the 434mhz version and i cant pair it to my car.
i did the following steps:
1. turn the engine on with my older key
2. i got out of the car and lcoked it with the spare key.
3. pressed the unlock button on the flip key and noting happened
maybe i need the 433 version?

I have the ibiza 1.2 facelift mk4 and have bought this one ebay
/itm/232312056994?_mwBanner=1 but can not get the remote working.immobilizer chip ok, engine starts and everything else is ok but the remote loss is driving me crazy.the chip has three buttons but the shell case externally is two button.I tried every method and no luck yet.please help me

Have you tried pressing the buttons themselves out of the case? I'd recommend getting a case with 3 buttons, it's useful when unloading stuff from the boot. It unlocks just the boot and then automatically locks it once you open it so you don't need to press lock on the key.
