Keep us posted how you get on fitting that phenolic gasket mate, been toying with that idea for a while. Only bits that put me off are all the stuff under the inlet mani and how hard it might be to clean around the bit where the inlet ports meet the engine block, obviously don't want any gunk or crap (no matter how small) getting into the cylinders!

before starting the job.. get some gunk, spray it over your inlet mani, and hose it off, so all the crap which *could* fall in, is washed away.

Will do mate. Going to try and do before and after logs somehow too. But trying to figure out how I could make it a fair test? :s

Polishers pretty much finished the polished mani now and its looking great! Cheers mate!!

if you go halfords mate its a engine degreaser its called gunk its in a blue bottle

All the leaves have fallen of the money tree this month!!! Been an expensive one
Clutch is being finished off tomorrow so should be able to pick it up after work tomorrow night. Cant wait!

Oh and an update on the clutch.... Was supposed to be done tonight but apparently euro's missed the flywheel off the order so wont be done until tomorrow afternoon
