He has 50bhp more so should be aiming at 12.5 but as things stand, he is still behind the blue and red car. I wish him good luck getting whatever goal he is aiming for though - he should surely manage with 407bhp. David has a vid of Anthony and I which he may post up at some point.

Mine has retired from that malarky now anyway - track days appeal more now for several reasons.

I love trackdays too. Hopefully at some point i can get mine down to the ring again as i really enjoyed taking the boc around there last time. Defo a few track days here too. 1/4 miles are fine but too hard on the gearbox imo. I would not mind an evo 9 myself hahahaha.

I love the 9 - the 5 and 6 are supposed to be the best with regard to maintenance though. Cheaper to buy too - just have to make sure the body and chassis is not rotten.

Yeah I am also led to believe that the 8 is the most tunable compared to the 9 but don't know how much truth there is to that. Still can't wait to see what you end up getting. When I was up in Edinburugh last week Bryan and I popped into a garage where they were working on a stunning EVO 8. The only other car that really grabs my attention apart from the SEAT tbh.

I am really lucky that I have Scotland's best Evo specialist, Wallace Performance minutes from where I live so am well sorted :). Matty who does the tuning runs an Evo4 with what I am sure is an uprated stroked evo8 engine and 700bhp. He was at Crail recently with it along with Mikes 1000+bhp Evo8.

I came across a BSH WMI Throttlebody pipe I bought for the old car at the weekend which i never fitted :cheeky:. I sold the WMI kit but wonder if it's worth buying another one for shits and giggles :)

LOL, these TBP's seem to be making a strong appearance again. Not too many folk know of the benefits of them. I have one on my wish list at the minute.

I recall some issues that I saw with a WMI kit two years back on another MK2 LC. If the position of the nozzles/s is/areincorrect or if ther is a bad installation, problems can arise and they can be fairly fatal.

WMI clearly has benefits in reducing temperatures allowing timing to be advanced resulting in more power. The Throttlebody pipe I have with the kit I bought two years back was supposed to work well as a combination Though Craig.

Oh definitely Al, no doubts as to the benefits of fitting a WMI setup. I was just asking as I hadn't heard a whole lot about it on the 2.0T compared with the 1.8T :)

Like you said, shits and giggles :) would be useful during a toasty day at Crail....

Mmmm. I still prefer red. Look at the contrasts below. It sticks out more and shows the lines better in my opinion :)
