Ahhhhhh then he received a WOK melding probably

Depends a little bit if there needs to be any welding and how much welding etc. But I would count on 200-250 euro or something on average to mount/weld something in between. I believe common prices for adding a valved muffler can be quite costly (so material + labor). For a cutout, prices are about 400-600 euro for a single cutout valve (material+labor).

Thanks!
I just done today. I removed the middendemper and installed the final muffler with the valve. I still need to connect the valve to the battery so I can turn on and off. I found it too noisy, not really happy. But I'm hoping that the final muffler valve is on... I really don't like to much noise and also I'm afraid to get stopped by the police or get a fine.

Have you also removed your middendemper? @nd-photo.nl

No, I still have my center silencer still intact. My exhaust setup looks like this:

3" downpipe > 200cpi cat > center silencer > cutout valve > backboxes

Police are cracking down on loud exhausts in the Netherlands, just make sure that in silent mode it doesn't attract the wrong attention

That's what I'm afraid. Also I don't want my car to be noisy when I'm driving inside of a city or even nearby houses and school... is just stupid (imo)

Tomorrow I'll connect the valve to the battery and test. If it's too loud (hopefully not) I need to find a solution to make it quieter on low revs.

I agree 100%, I drive with the cutout closed like 90% of the time. Keep us up to date!
Good news! The valve was open so I was basically driving "straight pipe"
With the valve closed, it's almost like stock, only the DSG "farts" are a bit higher and in high revs is a bit louder. So it's more than ok to drive daily.
With the valve open... it's a bit too much as daily.

So it ended up well!

Nice! Glad it worked out well

Soundtests by police are never super high in revs, they test according to vehicle specifications if I am not mistaken. In other words, you should be safe with this flexible setup
