Well that was crap.
Fitted the new hot n hard pipe and the fit was crap at the turbo end.
Did the best i can and took it for a run. Decided to blow off at about 3.5k.
Fits the original back on roadside and all back to normal.
Take a look in the box and the return form says musnt be fitted.
Going to contact them anyway.
On top of that, the passenger door wont open!
Walked away for now.

Chuck it in the bin and put it down to experience.
Ive messaged the seller but doubt I'll get much out of them to be honest.

The metal pipe didn't go into the turbo elbow straight. I thought id risk it and it didn't pay off. It blew off whilst i was giving it a foot load. The pipe needs a few degrees adding to the bend.
Looking at the feedback of the seller i have my doubts ill get any money back.
So will look into increasing the angle. If that doesnt work I'll sling it.
I wouldn't want to drop it on another unsuspecting punter.

Like what you've done to the front bumper. Id do it to mine but dont like where you have to put the number plate.

My plate is a 3/4 size sticker on the other side.
Never had a problem.
Except car park cameras find it difficult to read them.
I’m having problems with Tapatalk so photos are a problem.

Filth.

Same colour as mine too, which gives me bad ideas.

For now though I'll just be blacking out my badge. Was that paint or a wrap? I might try to line the edge of mine with some colour...

So far today has been scouring oemepc looking for a part number and failing.

Great thing building a parts bin special right up till there's a part you need that isn't listed 😩

Im looking back at yesterday's events on my car and although the pipe blowing off pissed me off im starting to think it was the door lock failure that made me want to take a match to the car. Yes, i really wasn't happy with it yesterday.
I also understand that i wasnt happy with the pipe fitment and shouldn't have driven it. No harm done though.
If i don't get any luck from the seller, its going in the bin. Im not into throwing money away but ive spent a lot more and got a lot less and its lesson learned.

Ive modded a few different cars over the years and learnt that if something doesn't work from the start, messing around with it is just wasting time. And in the Leons defense, most mods ive tried work 🙂
