How to get more brightness to the roof spotlights. If i use mib(car settings/lights) dashboard is too bright.
I just want to change the brightness of the spotlights of the roof.

Notice no one replied to you - it is a subject that annoys me also, since I replaced standard bulbs by LED on my previous Octavia and the interior was VERY bright.
Those inside lights are not configurable so, as I see it, the only possibility is to get hold of the whole light enclosure from a car without LEDs and then replace the bulbs on those with some proper bright LEDs.
The interior LEDs on the Seat are quite poor... I have already replaced the trunk one and also the footwell - the fronts are not good but OK, but the rear seat ones are pathetic.

Has anyone had a go at making the DRL dim on the side you are indicating ? - just like an Audi does, Thank you.

I thought my 66 plate se dynamic tech did this as standard but I could be wrong. Will never know now as the facelift drl and indicators are the same unit.

Hi, just wondering if you ever found a way to make the Mirrors unfold when the car is unlocked instead of when the ignition is switched on?

keelanrigdon14 what car and year do you have please.

Reason I ask is I have seen some talk that the original cars cam as you have (open when ignition is switched on) but newer cars 2014 certainly are via the remote unlock. I have asked and nobody can confirm if this is a firmware thing or coding.

The mirrors unfold on unlocking my Facelift Leon. I was actually looking for a mod that allows them to unlock on Engine start but I’ve dismissed the idea now.

I see you have a 2013 Leon SC. I’ve had in the past a 2012 Leon,a 2014 Leon and a 2016 Leon and they all opened on unlocking the car. None of them unfolded the mirrors on engine start.

Have you added some previous mods to the car to make it the way you have it?

Thanks again Andy for your input - I note ( I think ) that this document appears to be only refering to the Left Hand (Passenger ) Side of the vehicle, as there are no printed instructions relating to Leuchte 3SL VRB21 which is the Drivers side or have I got it wrong ?

I know what you mean but I'm sure I tried this and it worked.

My advice is just try it,if it only works on one side, code the other. If it doesn't do what you want it to revert to previous settings

Quick question,
Can the rear led lights ( the side light ones ) be coded with obdeleven to act as indicators like on later Seat Leons ?
I have a Seat Leon FR 2014 with LED lights.

I like option 3 but with both leds flashing together and not having side light, not sure if thats possible.
I have asked on the thread though.

The answer is yes, you code the first option (remember i coded this with the Rear DRL's on all the time) and add the following changes

On Leuchte18BLK HLA60, change Lichtfunktion A 18 from Blinken links Hellphase to nict aktive - turns off the indicator

On Leuchte19BLK HRC31, change Lichtfunktion A 19 from Blinken rechts Hellphase to nict aktive - turns off the indicators

So if i do the above i will have NO sidelights and just inner and outer LEDs flashing together in phase ?
I do not want the sidelight option as i am afraid the LEDs will give up the ghost with them being on all the time.

i will make the change on sunday and put up a video so you can see what it looks like. before you make the change make sure you have a backup of stock settings as it wont pass mot and i have been told its not legal in uk.
