The black magic paint has lots of gold and silver flek in it and at certain angles the black can have either a brown or grey tinge to it

Today (courtesy of barn) i received an intercooler piping kit
Need to get the cooler mounted up now and source a welder able to do ali as since i moved jobs i no longer have access to one
I've probably mentioned it before but i wont be following OE and planning on only 2 flexible joints on each piece (off turbo and onto cooler, off cooler and onto throttle body)
Need to get some practice in now as its been 6 years since i've TIG'd up Aliminium apart from tacking up my battery box

Also DHL came to deliver my engine bits today but no one in so looks like im off to brum tomorrow to collect

Wahooooo........ dont get carried away, it may only be the engine mount...or the map sensor adaptor..which reminds me whats the chance of you letting me have that if i get you another one? i have just made up the new pipe work for the R32 throttle body, and need the adaptor but i cant get on for a couple of weeks, but need one asap.

It should be everything apart from the engine mount actually.
You know the sensor port needs to be welded on dont you? and i'd need another replacement relatively quickly as i want to get my FMIC sorted soon
May need that gearbox gasket too

Yeah i know it needs welding, i know where to get them from here but they wont have one for a couple of weeks so dont have time to wait but i will get one to replace yours if i can scrounge it, i will also sort you out with the gasket.

Ok, i'll let you have it as long as you get the replacement thats contoured to 2.5" pipe as this one is.

Today Barn was very nice and went to Birmingham to pick up my bits from INA
So a few pics of what there was

The above is a Southbend stage 3 OFE clutch and SMF with new release bearing and flywheel bolts, DM Forged rifle drilled H-beam rods, fluidampr pulley.

Also pic of something else from barn in exchange for some bits n pieces from the S3

Lots of bits here now to keep me busy

Looks good, I've got that clutch kit in mine. Nice bit of kit, had mine upto 435lb/ft without problems.
