Swapped to the dynamic indicators, which are a major improvement over stock. Very happy with this cheap & easy modification! Looks way more modern (y)

Noticed some oil in the intake system, which is usually a sign of a bad PCV valve/system. So first things first, replace the PCV valve

Performed DSG oil & filter change. Unfortunately, the previous owner skipped the 120k km mark (I never understand why people skimp over necessary maintenance).

This was the first "big" jobbo on the Cupra. Also cleaned everything I encountered (sand/dust) during this job

Nice build. Please watch out with the knockoff vcds cables it contains virus software. Also u get warnings like out off range when coding its not a real hex-v2 some times it wil messup your coding on the mqb cars. Keep up the good work.

Noticed that the rear suspension is quite corroded on both sides, but the body seems to be untouched? I will be replacing this somewhere next year.

The cutout valve is visible, I will add a 90 degree turn on it so it points to the rear

Started on the tuning essentials, removing the turbo muffler.

The aftermarket version has seals added, which looks way better. I bought this from Aliexpress and fitment is 100%. Very cost effective mod!

Thanks for the link. Its Common that the subframe and rear arms rust allot after. My seat garage did say to me that after 5 years many cars had the rear arms already replaced but the are not so expensive. Golf 5 and 6 have the same problems. My subframe had a rust prevent maintenance like 3 years ago. The rear arm look like the been replaced one time. The turbo elbow and hose upgrade are also cheap to do inluding a good quality replacement filter. And removing the snowgaurd out of the airbox. For stage 1 remap it give me on the dyno alsmost 10 HP. Same as al the name brand intake system with stage 1 :)

Also replaced the intake hose for silicone. I needed to trim the hose down a little but for everything to fit. In the end I decided to put the stock hose on again for now. The reason is that the silicone hose is not rigid and can easily collapse.

I will buy the Do88 intake hose once I also buy the Do88 intake.
