Are you sure that the fronts were backwards as my grooves are shown as yours are in the pic at the top
They were changed to this after about half an hour discussing it and a phone call to bill too

Initially these were sold to me as being grooves swept towards the pads, and that's what Bill requests from his supplier. Due to issues this doesn't always come as requested.
As said, its all to do with the internal vane direction

It was eventually worked out on vane direction but thought bill's grooves were always machined the same direction, didn't realise that some came through the system with different orientation

Its your fault i put them on the way i did in the first place because i copied you discs orientation, ;) but yeah all the vanes where facing the front of the car and not rear as explained HERE and by Bills diagram.

Good Evening

I`am interested in changing my inlet manifold on my 2003 AUQ how hard was this to do?. I did have a DIY job like the forge kit but need a bigger FMIC now as I`am going for one of bills Hybrids soon. I don`t want to buy a ready made kit as i have loads of piping and the forge map pipe already and i want to try something different.


Is yours off a LCR 210 AMK or 225BAM ? or does it not matter.
Did you put a catch can in because the existing piping is not easy to match up .



Love the car i like a bit of DIY but havent got the balls to do all the mods you have !!!!

Any Help gratley appreciated

Hi,

It doesn't matter which car you get the manifold from; LCR (210 or 225), TT or S3, but you also need the charge pipe and all the brackets and the map pipe from Forge, it all fits easily. I fitted the catch tank after all the one pipe work still fits with the LCR Mani.
