Good stuff! Yeah a plate often changes the whole look ove a motor mate.
But.. Boy are they a pain to chop and change when selling/swaping lol

wee update! went to the scottish national meet at crail yesterday and was a brilliant day! took the car down the 1/4 mile a few times and managed to get a 14.63! was more than happy with that for the time being. set that time in the morning and as the day went on and got warmer the car started to lose time and i ended up in the 15s after getting 14s all morning, obviously down to the shockingly small standard side mount seriously need to change it car was cooking after each run and had to let it cool for ages between runs! hopefully get a front mount soon and put that on along with my de-cat DP and then 4 bar FPR and stage 2 map got a few new pics thanks to Guffers wee bro!!

will try and get a pic of other bits n bobs ive done since my phones decided to start workin again!

It was a cracking "wee day oot!" it has to be said. You looked quick off the line bud, a struggled to get mine off the line, mines is just no designed to be lauched from a stop. Best a got was a 15.5

my mk4 golf pd150 with nothing but a remap and coilovers managed a 15.0
infact........ i remember you taking a couple of vids of me going down the strip, i have them saved on my computer


a 14.6 is a decent time alex...... thats only 0.3 off the fastest i managed in my LCR.

mind you that was with a clutch starting to slip too lol

Once i get the cooler n stage 2 sorted i think ill get the times down, could feel the car suffering from heat soak pretty badly, alot worse than on the road and even then i can feel it haha actually got decent launches a few time and managing not to spin at all in second most times did u see my kate stall my other mates mk5 gti? Was the highlight of my day hahaha

Hopefully going to fit my 312mm brakes tonight so long as i have the will power not to buy drink on my way home from work haha! Will post pics tonight if i get it done and also going to do a how to thread for it as theres no clear guide on what needs done!

You will be impressed with the 312mm my mate has them on his mk3 golf and the look massive behind the 17" alloys.

Aye i should feel a big difference can feel how good they are even in my brothers leon cupra so should do the trick for me! They look rediculous behind the 16s haha no room left at all!

well 312s are on and i think theyll do the job might need a servo off of a leon cupra or something as the pedal travels a bit further before they bite but once they bite they are mental haha nearly put myself through the windscreen first time i tried them
got a picture of them fitted although its not great, will get better ones shortly (i know the callipers need repainted )

Yeah its there or there abouts with the cupra r not far off it. Always had a soft spot for the mk4 astras

Aye i had a shot of my mates gsi with vxr turbo etc but wasnt mapped so not overly quick, looked smart tho!

The sri is more of a sleeper . Hopefully gonna get the vxr injectors afm and decat and push for 300bhp so will be interesting in a car with a kerb weight of 1100 odd kg compared to the Leon at more than 200kgs heavier
