From a rolling start I would not expect to have had a problem with a 400hp evo, m6 or (standard) 996 turbo either But the Cupra deserves respect and seems to be very quick indeed. The instant torque and traction that I had with the S4 is offset by the lower weight and less drivetrain loss of the Cupra it seems.
Your TT RS is a very impressive beast too. Relatively light, 4wd and huge amount of torque on tap.
Thanks, bang for buck the Cupra cannot be beaten imo.
For more power on this engine, If going BT I would want to "turn the turbo around" so that the hot side is the opposite way of the air intake route. In effect making the intake piping much shorter, and not running over hot turbo/manifold and DP.
In effect one would then be able to run less boost but sustain same power levels, increase reliability and sustainable power, and allow the motor and turbo to spin at a higher rpm.
