just leave the N75 plugged in, but run the pipes onto the MBC

N75 is awful, and MBC helps boost to come in a lot harder and holds boost better as well

Amen to that....

The MBC feels a God send...And looks like it comes in the same boost wise no ive driven it a few time...
I would'nt say Driving it hard it was laggy as it just goes and been up against a few thing with the same or more bhp...

I still think it can be improved tho..Like a tubluar manifold and get rid of the ATP one...OR wider charge pipe...

it will do the job better, but dont go thinking it will magically transform the performance of the gt2x because it wont.....it will just allow better control over what you currently have at the moment

Im not slating my gt2x i think its awesome...Just want to sort the spool up out as im abit out...

The EBC is far better as its the ecu that controls the solnoid not a Spring

I am merely stating a fact that an EBC wont magically transform the performance of the unit, it will help, but thats it - unit is laggy, has the same if not worse spool than a BT and lacks the punch of a BT, thats not slating it, again that's fact and vagcom shows this aspect quite clearly

Just bought a full Mandrel universal ID 63mm alloy pipe kit with coulples and 90degree bends of ebay 68quid posted

This is what i bought....Just Need to sort out the MbC pipe now

This reason im doing this as i took a wild quess and signed up to the golf mk4 forums and asked about it...And with my cooler being in the words ''Small'' they think theres a restricion somewere....As is seem Most of the Mk4 Gti lads use the Gt2x more than us ibiza lot...

As beattie and Matt_Cupra Both had Forge FMIC's And bigger pipe work..My uni cooler is half the size of the Forge one and is half the Flow rate goin of Robbie C's thread...So its worth a try....Plus id make my money back by selling my other sfs setup to someone who had a uni fmic..

Jamie: Yeah i completly know what you mean...If its in lag il just drop a cog or 2...Ive been playin with the mbc 2night turned it up 2 psi and boost is coming in sooner? odd?

Yeah you can defo feel it topend....you really can!!

But when i was messing around i was hittin 24psi(1.7bar) in WOT in 4th!!!!!

So the mbc tomorrow is getting turned right down to 20psi(1.4bar)...i ''MUST NOT'' of adjusted it enough when i fixed my boost leak!!!!!!!

edit: also by looking at the logs is my FMIC doing ok?

Well its a cold night tonight up here anyways, but its at 24 degrees at 6000 so it could be cooler really. Best thing is to get the new charge pipe on and do a full log to redline and see what temps you get then really and go from there

But like i said mine was running high cf's with the laguna, got the AM cooler and pipework on and they dropped right down, but they were neve as high as 12!

Yeah i completly understand!!!!

But i am wayyyy over boost in 4th what boost am i hitting and holding in them logs..

Now ive got vagcom and lemmiwinks i can sort and keep an eye on this now

need to remove about 1 bar from what it says on vagcom, so 1.25 bar
