i would say that is a fair assumption. If you ring a dealer with your chassis number they will be able to tell you (providing you get a competent parts person)
So all you owners of early Toledos and Leons (1999-2001 I reckon) need a
1JO 959 753 N Flip key!!
Ive removed the badge and the screw, but dont want to snap the casing trying to open it up. It seems pretty well closed!
Well, I've managed to "pair" the following remotes with my car (Seat Leon 4 20VT MK1 MY2003):
HLO 1J0 959 753 AH (VW Golf IV, Hella 434MHz, 3 button, ALL buttons are working for me)
HLO 1J0 959 753 G (Seat Leon II MY2007, Hella 434MHz, 3 button, *trunk* button NOT working for me)
So if i've got a 2002 Leon Cupra, the top one would be best yes?
Anybody know what the transponder/chip part number is for mine? Should be either AKTP4 or AKTP1??
Was it a used Transponder? If so i have been told that used ones cannot be reprogrammed, hence why i've sourced new ones
