http://www.vagproducts.co.uk/

on that website you need the vag tacho lead...then do a search on here for vagtacho....

this will give you all the info but i will be happy to help via PM once you are up and running...

depending on your car, i know i got the 4 digit SKC i don't know about 7 digit.....

what car and age do you have?>

It is a Seat Leon MK1 MY2003 20VT4 (the 4x4 Haldex model) 180BHP. This model was sold in Greece...

the 7-digit SKC/PIN is an "encrypted" version of the 4-digit SKC/PIN. It does not matter which one you use but the readers mentioned above both read the 4 digit

The thing is that I bought the car used and I don't have the 4-digit code... I only have the one the Aura CD that came with the car... Is there somewhere in the papers of the car that this code can be found? Is there some other way to retrieve either the 7-digit SKC encrypted code or the 4-digit code? Damn used cars... :(:(:(

Ok, I am now knackered! I have just read through ALL 30 pages of this thread and my head hurts! However it seems early Toledos and possibly Leons have problems with flip keys of different frequencies!

I have a 99 Toledo 1.9Tdi SE. I bought a flip key from eBay which will not sync with the central locking! I have tried every method going and i mean every method. Even tried mixing them together with no luck!

My old non flip remote key is PN: 5FA 007 680 433Mhz Hella.
The key i bought is a Hella 434Mhz PN: HLO 1J0 959 753 AG

Now some people on here think the AG is a good key! If so anyone want to swap it for a 433Mhz?! I am desperate to solve this problem!

Has anyone out there with a 99 toledo or very early Leon got a flip key working? If so please share info on how!! I'm going nuts here!

Much kudos to you for all that reading! :p

I'm working it out by buying a new "rear-end" from the stealer.:hide:
They'll also code it for me. (for free)

Oh, btw, I've and old Leon.

hi guys,

ive got a 99 toledo tdi S, which didnt come with any remote key fob. I have bought a std style key, same code as yours (5FA 007 680) and that works, plus a hlo 1ko959 753g flip key which didnt (434mhz, late model golf), however aldofini on here had a 2001 leon and said that he had tried an AG key, which didnt work, then got a flip key with the letter at the end as 'N' and that worked. Ive just won a 1J0 959 753 N key on ebay, so when it comes ill try it and I will let you know.
