flip key info thread

Hi, well ive (half) solved my problem.

Ive bought an older style (non flip) key off ebay and that works a treat! ( i did not have a remoted fob at all when I bought the car - 1999 Seat Toledo 1.9 TDi)

However, allthough I now have a working remote I would still prefer a flip key!

So, has anyone with a Std hella key with the code:

730 955 00
433 mhz
5FA007680

managed to get a flip key working with thier car, and if som what is the part number & frequency for it?

From something someone said on another post it may neewd to be the one with an "N" at the end?

Whoo hooo

Thanks to all for the invaluable info in this thread, now have a working flip key in my 2007 1.4 Ibiza DAB.

For info the item code for the key I had success with is

1J0959753CT from ebay here

And cut blade from eBay seller ddkeyprogrammers

DO NOT pay silly prices for these keys, they can be had new for under £30UKP + a couple of quid p+p from here , had I not been successful with the eBay auction I would have gone for one of these.

So, with the label a working flip key for under £30UKP.

Have to say I unnecessarily split the half of the key apart that contains the battery looking for the transponder, I must have missed that post that says it's in the half with the key

Also had trouble coding the key to the car, was beginning to think I had a dud. I followed the process from the first post in this thread and then the process from the manual... still couldn't get it going. Got to the point where I was turning the key in the ignition, door lock and pushing buttons on the remote at random..... and it just started working, AT NO POINT DID THE HORN SOUND.

Once again thanks to all

The 2007 1.4 DAB is not blessed with an alarm as standard. IIRC it was something like a £200 extra to which I thought - s0d it!

Nowhere near, i.e. Norway.
Is there a way to check which frequency the flip key you buy is? :help:
It's just a 9 digit part number inside the key, no sign of which frequency, and ETKA won't accept the part number. [:@]
I'm out of ideas.

Hi guys, my flip key info was on the previous page ( page 28 of this thread)

HLO 1K0 959 753 G

The reason I have multiple posted is to try and get hold of Arnolfini as it sounds as if he had exaclty the same roblem as me and solved it by using an older style key with an 'N' at the end of the key number.

I wanted his full part number

Would it be possible for someone to PM/ email him? ( maybe I dont have enough posts)

my mail adress is [email protected]

nope, used a different cable and vagtacho program!

Depends on your car it woudl seem!

Could you please send me some more information on this please (PM maybe?). I'm a bit desperate here because SEAT Greece just won't cooperate... They even told me that I can't change the battery to the remote and I have to throw it away after 5-6 years when the battery is dead and buy a new one!!! Can you just imagine what they told me???
