Yeh he lives not far away, on the way home from work. Took him all of 2 minutes once his laptop was charged! I've put instructions in the auto windows thread in mk4 forum for others nut yeh you need vcs pro and a serial cable.

New tyres, falken 452's are now on the front and they seem to be doing alright so far! Feel allot comfier than the paradas, less road noise etc they seem to grip well too, quite impressed for the cost!

My mates big bro uses them on his track car and swears by them so thought I'd give them a bash, they are cheaper too which helped make my decision haha begrudge paying for paradas now they have shot up!

Probably about 45-46k or so mate, then another one went about 50 lol local vag specialist does them for 48 quid on exchange though!

Symptoms, the dash light came on and when I started the car cold the revs dropped straight to idle, whereas normally it revs about 1500 for a little bit, then drops down. Other than that, it ran fine! I know some people have far worse symptoms though!

oh ok nice one thanks for that,i was thinking mine was on its way out but ive put more thought into and i think my my dv needs a service as its never been done in two years its been on the car just doesnt feel as good lately and vag com says all is good might even get a different valve.

I have same car as scott and same tyres, had them on around 2 weeks now and they're spot on, can't fault them at all. It's my second set as they were on when I bought the car.

Here's what they look like

I'm in the process of going the other way. I've got Falken's on the front at the moment, but these will be swapped out for Parada's to match the rear's when they wear out.

Well spent 6 hours last Monday detailing the cupra, then cleaned it all up again tonight ready for vw festival.

Also took the airbox out and cleaned it inside and out and fitted a pipercross panel filter. Then fitted my pressed plates on again.

Just got to carry out a quick Hoover tomorrow morning. Anyway I got a couple of quick pics:

The ride height and those wheels look absolutely spot on Scott! Really does look mint! Do the cops up that way not like pressed plates all the time? I run with mine on all the time!
