Did a service, oil filter, fuel filter, oil, coolant and plugs. Tried some NGK iridium 7s and so far I'm pleased with the results! Sadly looks like my battery is on the way out but I was shocked to find it still had the original battery from new, so pretty good going really. Fixed the knocking rear top mount and sorted the sticky caliper! Finished off with a quick wash and she's happier than ever.

Hazard switch is removed :) managed to unplug the stereo while I was looking at the back of it and I can't remember where the code is so I put an aftermarket one in ATM it looks like someone started to steal the radio and gave up as I don't have a fascia for it lol

Fitted my new SFS tip!

Wasn't tough until the jubilee clip at the turbo end popped off after I got everything done up.
Can see why people rave about them makes the car much nicer to drive.

Annoyingly though after getting some grommets to seal my rear wiper I can't get the ****er off, seems the arm is fused to the shaft.

Also serviced my 008 valve with the new, revised piston. Before I took it apart I gave the side port a good clean, stuck it in my gob and blew hard into it. I could hear and feel air escaping through the bottom port, not a massive amount but once I'd serviced it there was no more air escaping due to the new piston having a rubber seal on the bottom. Worth doing I'd say.

Quick shot of the old and new pistons:

Do you just get this upgrade from forge them self?
