What make of coils are they?
Never seen helper springs at the top before.

Managed to change oil/filter, changed boot seal and adjusted the ball joint positioning and took for blast!

Also set up the new coilovers but the helper springs at the top are very compressed and don't kno if they are right or wrong?

Well decided today, my car is never going to get on any show and shine concours's. Its now full of dog hair and sand lol!

Recently started helping with a dog charity and had a walk on the beach today, some 40 odd German Shepherds :)

Changed my cracked OE manifold out for a non-cracked one lol.

Nice to drive the car without the smell of exhaust fumes coming into the cabin! (anyone feel sleepy?? ;) )

Washed it and took a few photos (more in my RR thread in a minute)

Also serviced my 008 valve with the new, revised piston. Before I took it apart I gave the side port a good clean, stuck it in my gob and blew hard into it. I could hear and feel air escaping through the bottom port, not a massive amount but once I'd serviced it there was no more air escaping due to the new piston having a rubber seal on the bottom. Worth doing I'd say.

Quick shot of the old and new pistons:
