Proves the worth of car specific exhaust systems over a one off I guess. No idea how long the after market cat back has been on, I've only had the car since october and nothing in the service history for it. Pretty gutted as just bought a new downpipe and decat, that was ment to exhasut finished lol!!

One will be getting ordered come payday drekly sir! The only bad thing about the connects2 is how short the aux wire is... Does it recognise the phone every time you get back in?

I found that too, but already had a phono lead in the house that I used instead of the supplied connects2 lead. I've swapped back to the original lead so I can just have the little black box poking underneath the ashtray. So far I've found I just need to hit connect on Bluetooth settings when I get back into car and it plays everything through stereo. I've found the sound quality is as good as it was before of I have my phone volume set to half, and turn up the stereo.

under the bonnet
changed rear top mounts and bump stops and fitted new rear pads and discs. Had to take the callipers off to rewind the piston so now need to bleed the brakes.

Yes surprisingly it is a nice car, & customer is happy which is the priority :D I pressed the new bearing kit in bud, hard to find MK1's that are any good these days ;)

1) Mounted the RaidHP sandwichplate so my oil temperature gauge works correct now. Pic taken right after driving.

3) Mounted Whiteline 24mm rear ARB aka Major Difference! €200 well spent, cornering feels way better (and i'm able to take turns much faster now), just awesome...
