Put my new red 12 months disc in the window, preferred the colour coded one from last year lol
yesterday i just had time to fit my flyeyes before the southern customs meet. (i also cleaned the grubby bits up in the engine bay but didn't have time to take photos.)
one done
normal light
flyeyed
Stealth
Still fine driving at night
i also went to the southern customs meet in southampton
ordered some 19" alloys finally.
not my first choice but brand new and only £240 in the clearance sale, i couldn't not get them.
tyres will have to wait till next payday.
I was driving home from work an discovered my hazard switch has decided to click constantly but I don't know how to get the thing out lol
Washed it and took a few photos (more in my RR thread in a minute)
Also serviced my 008 valve with the new, revised piston. Before I took it apart I gave the side port a good clean, stuck it in my gob and blew hard into it. I could hear and feel air escaping through the bottom port, not a massive amount but once I'd serviced it there was no more air escaping due to the new piston having a rubber seal on the bottom. Worth doing I'd say.
Quick shot of the old and new pistons:
Fitted my new SFS tip!
Wasn't tough until the jubilee clip at the turbo end popped off after I got everything done up.
Can see why people rave about them makes the car much nicer to drive.
Annoyingly though after getting some grommets to seal my rear wiper I can't get the ****er off, seems the arm is fused to the shaft.
