What did you and your MK2 do today?

When I did mine I folded the mirrors up and got an old bank card underneath and worked my way round it and it popped off so I didn't have to remove the mirror or anything.
The actual mirror casing has 5 clips which just need to be prized off. Push hard and it just pops off

I've cracked my mirror glass now - will teach me not to mess with cars! I bet it's an expensive part from the dealers too!

Spent 5 hours cleaning the car today, washed it, clay barred it, and then waxed it.. I am pooped!!!
Argh!! Not good. How odd as well.... Maybe a hair dryer may have come in handy to heat it up a bit.
It is indeed pricey
