Well all I can say is that there is certainly a big difference from the rev d that was fitted.

Phew. Glad it wasn't all just in my head. Glad you got your light back as well. I've started using my intake heatshield as a tool tray. The number of rattles that panic me only to find a couple of spanners I've left on it. RIP the rubber washer I left on it last week and is now somewhere in the engine bay.

The red has faded, just hard to notice when it's polished and waxed. The bumper doesn't match the shade of the car due to fading.

Have you tried some meguires ultimate compound? It's pretty good for restoring paint.

Fitted a ramair oversized intake kit, to do away with the broken engine cover.

Car now sounds like a hot hatch should do.

On a run of four night shifts now so as soon as Friday comes along, I will degrease the engine bay and tidy it up abit now that you can actually see the engine.

Changed my recirc valve to be surprised to find my car had an 8 year old Revision D. Put a revision G on instead as its the better of the two types.

Im sure its not meant to but the old recirc came apart when lifting it out.
