Universal FMIC with pics

Yeah looks great, what sort of improvements are you seeing on the road?
Do you need to inform the insurance people its fitted??
You putting the centre grill back on?
Just wondering is your number plate legal, looks good and allows better flow to the IC.

i had mine dyno 2 weeks before before fitted an two weeks after an had gains of 30 lbs ft torque second best mod after remap

i know there alot cheaper than the forge but our the really the same build quality or give the same performance? just wondering why forge is so much more money as im looking at going down this route

Would have colour co-ordinated the pipes lol, theres a full kit with moutns on ebay for 350 quid

should imagine its a bit more expensive due to the hard mandrel bent pipe work. I shall be getting one sooner or later just need a working engine LOL

mine cost 160 all in so if i were you would save the money an follow nevs guide. i did it in about 8 hours an that included doing some tests to make sure hoses didnt come off.,

Just wondering what silicon hoses are needed to fit the FMIC, I looked on the forge website and they do them at all different diameters and angles, what angles and diameters are needed for fitment??

Just trying to price up the piping as the one linked to ebay uses rubber and not silicon.

yeah i did but had to order some silicone hose and some proper clamps as the ones that came was poor.

How did you secure the Intercooler to the crash bar?

What improvements have you seen since fitment? Or you still finishing it off?

Can the fogs be left in place or do they need to be removed?

i would also like to know where the pipes would run on a diesel?????, because the inlet is at the back of the engine whereas on the 1.8t its on the front
