Following this threat for a while, nice to see there is almost a solution for anything. :) I have a MY19 Cupra with a MIB2 High and Beats Audio. I'm currently running P4708. Can I go straight to 4709 by using: MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4709?

You cant jump trains, which means you are OK since that is a "4".

That's the one that gives you 1449 release. You are on 1409.

There were some language issues with that but you fix with topping up with missing language files from 1409 which you have. If you look at Mib Wiki's last post they have something that fixes that. The DEB board still rumbles on about missing language files. Back on here they can be fixed via the backend mib2 high menu (SWDL) via adding the missing stuff from 1409 (you need that release as well to hand). That was done here where I steered someone thru it.... as said if you read above that is suppose to be fixed. Where Mib Wiki says I have something new for you to play with. 1449 is the final release of the mib2 high... I'm happy with 1338 or 1339... which ever it is.

Revised stuff:

Previous way of fixing it if issues... read above from here:

Patched means use Mib Tool above after sorting out the missing language file.

Problem was that the 1447 shared on Internet had missing files...
Tuner Folder missing and Turkish iso file when on metainfo2.txt file files where includet..also someone made a joke 😂Checking 1409 and 1447 metainfo2.txt file and also files are identical so just create complete 1447 ....
Tell please dont write such things. Now if anyone downloads 1447 or 1447 AIO he get complete fw. in both cases identical where aio is prepatched and normal 1447 is original....

Well it's still rumbling on, on the DEB board. There were two 1447s or just one, but nobody accepted there were two which is why that DEB thread is full of issues but the people behind the thread washed their hands of it. Oh just two releases... well link to the correct one then. They didn't.

The AIO version may fix it as I said. Haven't tested it but does replace the previous DEB thread where you had to resort to SWDL to back fill missing language files even if not accepted by all parties 🤣. I gave warts and all putting the revised stuff first then the imperfect one if the first failed. The second one works with the in fill that's proven by the subsequent posters on the DEB thread and here. More hassle if you are not up to speed with SWDL. Reality to me was the original DEB thread had issues but the DEB moderator didn't accept that saying there is more than one release of 1447 out there...

Thank you for quick replying all! Got mine from mib-solution.one. File size is over 2gb so I assume it’s the correct one?

I’m trying to keep things as original as possible, so I will try the non AIO first. Had a quick look in the Speech folders, It seems all the files are there.

You can be our first AIO tester here. It will be a meaty release. Remember to keep the power into the unit whilsts it's updating since any loss of power will corrupt the unit. I kept the engine running... diesel isn't going to stop.

If you try the original method Angelixx above did finally get it to work. Mib Tool for the FeCs you also install. The AIO method is the streamlined lined one which seems does it all without installing Mib Tool unless it does it in the background.

Thinking about it a little more since you have 1409 if it's only the ability to update the FeCs that you need you just need Mib Tool which is part of the upgrade if you plan to use the original method, detailed here but in the links

If you don't use the AIO method then you will need VCDS or Obdeleven to change the skin of 1447 since its prone to come up during installation as black. People thinks it's gone wrong but needs a skin change.

Whilst I never installed 1447 myself I researched what needed to be done to update the FeCs details in the post above. Jpmedia in the end produced a module to add to mib tool which extended the functionality to 1338. Mib Tool covers specific firmware releases detailed. You can reverse the Mib Tool edit if required, this is separate to a full firmware update. Mib Tool offering in the car retrofitter tools from the green menu. Easy enough to use and the default setting gives you the works in terms of all FeCs.

See post 1048. It's listed down there but the conversation was there was a more recent one. Indexing brings that up and 363T. Namely MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0368T.
Thanks appreciate. does it matter which software you take or it is for all seat models to use?

SE denotes Seat. It has to be a 03xx one so your choice is limited on that this list. Changing trains 03xx to 04xx isn't for the novice.
Thanks for the help. i take the 0368T and let's see if it will work. Also if I update will I lose my settings and options?

Not within the 03xx series as I understand it... let other reply to that. The main thing is to let the unit do the updates via as many reboots it needs powered up with the engine running. There are more experts on here on this than me 😍. Stress power since if the unit looses power you are comprimised. All risk is down to you.

Ah okay. So basically I can’t update straight away without MIB Tool? Even with the needed speech files?

Option 2 for 1447 you need Mib Tool and also VCDS / Obdeleven to get the skin changed.

Option 1 if you look at it you may not need either. I've not looked at it.

Option 3 (You only need the navigation FeC, performance gauge etc) you'd need Mib Tool same as option 2. You can have ago at that. Easy enough if you dont want to bother with the final release of the mib2 high software. Not sure whether that was ever rolled out due to the issues on skin and language file. No doubt I'll be corrected if it was. There is a roll back in Mib Tool to the firmware edit it does if you dont like it. Option 1 is the more streamlined to option 2.
