Leon 1.5 ehybrid here with the 12" infotainment. Has anyone experienced bluetooth issues pairing a phone to the infotainment? I have a very specific smartphone that always connected to every other car stereo wven with rental cars. When i try to pair it with the Leon it sends the request to the phone but the infotainment say it cannot connect. I am almost sure this is a software bug on the infotainment. Are there any software updates for these new systems?

Have you tried connecting a different phone to see if you get the same ‘cannot connect‘ message on the infotainment screen? If you do, then it suggests it might be an issue with the software. If other phones connect OK then it suggests your phone might be the issue (have there been any software updates on your phone recently that might have caused this glitch?).

It connects to other phones but with limitations. Some phones have wireless android auto, other dont even being fully updated and eith the required capabilities.. This particular phone connects to all other cars (about a dozen) that i have tested so it is not a problem with the phone.
