Looks great Nick, nice pictures and a good guide of how best to fit this in with a FMIC.
As the buzz about these kits grow and more people fit them I'm thinking it's a great idea too.
Will be interesting to see how you feel this effects your cars performance and 1/4 mile/BHP/Torque figures.
Are you still on the OEM KO4, will be interesting to see what can be squeezed out of this and what sort of torque curves it gives.

Yeh on OEM k04, Im looking forward to getting it all sorted, been laying the GF stairs carpart and it takeing AGES!!!! SO not sure if im going to get the electrics done today, altho it dont really matter as i need to wait to get the right nozzle in.

Fingers crossed i can get more power, but it means i can run the power im running safer as the summers sets in.. What a day yesterday!! 23c :D

One its all finished i think i will use all the photos to make a guide.

I ran some logs with the meth this weekend with that to Aaron alltho im still not 100% on how it all ties in.

The kit only came with a 630cc jet I dId get advised not to use it but i thought what the hell and run a set of logs with it anyway as i dont think it could do much damage apart from stall the engine a bit. Then i borrowed Aarons 330cc and it run MUCH better, alltho Dave runs a 175cc and he has more power, so some advice on how the logs can show i need to reduce the mozzle size would be great!!

On my Injector Duty Cycle that i worked out, how can i have over 100%?

You can work out my AF ratio is 12.7 and peeked at 215.9g/s of air. Acording to the calcs Aaron gave me. But what does this tell me?

Im working on the 330cc logs now.

OK with the 330 cc is works out im flowing less air and im running leaner

My Peak Lamba Factor is near 6k where as on aarons is nearer 7k?

Ok been re-reading over aarons thread, and i think i know what i need to do now

Don't take injection rates off manufacturers charts. Measure them yourself. Nozzle into measuring jug for 30secs should be accurate enough.
Take your peak fuel flow and try to get 10% water, or 15% w/m.
Keep increasing rates until you see no improvement in knock suppression.


So i need to work out what 15% WM is on my peak fuleing = 1450cc pm so 15% is 217cc pm nozle to start with? With my 330cc pm im at 23% -

What mix is this to be used with 50/50?
why im seeing 110% Injector Duty Cycle tho:confused:
How can you tell if your burning all the meth?

Is your turbo a hybrid or have you been fettling with tthe actuator as the boost at red line and mass air flow is very healthy.;)

he hasnt been playing with the actuator Willy it just runs well.

i was suprised about our run up the A5 Nick, yours felt very quick on sunday i wasnt expecting that.

i dont see how you can have an IDC of over 100% maybe Wilko or Dave can shed some light?

Aaron the car felt very bad when we was playing. Gear changes where very lumpy like with the 630cc... Not sure why.. Ill get some logs done 2morro and see what its doing! was running better with T7.... maybe me and you are going to have the same problems.. o well.. Early days yet and i need to get my new nozzles. 330 is still OTT.

Nice to know it keeping up with hybrids :funk: but its about flow as well as boost :)

Be glad to help if we can Ben, altho i can say Aaron is a better man to look over your logs then me at the moment, im still learning, and boy is there allot to learn.
