Just got back from Forge and unfortunately the can wont fit the LCR due to air con gasing point
However a slighly modified one will be appearing on mine soon due to more room in my bay now
Really need to get this cone ordered to suit now

Good work on making the trip mate.
So are they developing a modified one for the LCR? And you will be the 1st?
Green time cone soon then ;)

The can is going to be relatively bespoke as it will be mounted where most cant
Had a chat to Kris and the direction of the ports changed and drainage point being changed to suit my request so i can add a small valve a piping to save having to remove the can to drain
It will also be a larger can than in the TT
Just trying to persuade them to make a similar style swirl pot now

Got confirmation earlier from mike at hughes engineering that my rear upper strut brace is in the post, delivered any day now
He also told me has 1 more fully fabricated brace ready if anyone is interested
Will put some pics up when it arrives, one step closer to corner weighting

Be interesting as people always say how noticeable it is with this fitted
Bearing in mind i have all the other braces, coilovers, uprated ARBs and mostly poly bushed i have a feeling it will be 'stiff' to say the least

Well fook me, what a difference
Car previously did occasionally feel a bit wayward and make the front feel light but after adding this is feel like a go kart
Had a quick blast on the way back from the shop and apart from the usual car pulling to stay in the divots worn into the road it is epic
The lower brace i fitted made the rear feel more connected but this has made a huge difference combined withthe other bits
A quick pic of how it is now, will tidy it all up tomorrow and refit the few pieces of trim i left off

Changed the oil and filter last week on my new 5000 miles theory everyone recommends
All went fine apart from a strong gust of wind blowing a bit of oil onto the road followed by me putting my head in it putting the undertray back on
Also now mastered making elaborate wooden structures to slowly increment the car up to a height i could get my hefty trolley jack in at
Noticed some pink staining and evidence of solidified coolant below the water pump so looks like that is leaking, will put pic up later
I assume the only way to access the pump and the way its secured is a cambelt off job, which i dont want as was only done 6k ago

Noticed this when changing the oil as mentioned above, any advise as i dont want to have to remove cambelt, etc. for small leak on the water pump
