Very interesting young padawan i may have to have i little play.
Padawan?? As he insinuates he's the master, not sure if my vagcom will be able to do it

That's a cracking discovery mate, all I need to get hold of now is a proper copy of VAGCOM! What's coming up next?

I found on my last trackday you could feel the ESP trying to come in if you were a bit slow coming off the brake before turning in and occasionally on exiting or in multiple quick corners, it seemed to happen too fast for it to calculate.
Hopefully this will work as removing one of the wheel speed sensors to knock all the systems off to get rid of this one is a pain.
I have the shareware copy of vagcom but i dont think it will be able to do it so i might need to speak nicely to phill to trial it.
As for whats next, hopefully i should have my wheels back in a week or so in a nice stupid colour:funk:

The only thing i will say is candy

A nice big FMIC rated to over 600hp and made by Garrett (was a little gutted it didnt have the logo sprayed on as it did in the advert pics though)
Also got my weld on MAP sensor flange but didnt take a pic of it.
So now to get lots of 63mm aluminium piping and get welding the pipe work up

Looks nice that, seems good quality from the pics. Sure you could find a Garrett logo on tinternet and print it on a bit of A3 to make a stencil?

I think a DIY stencil job might be the way forward
Sounds very interesting, looking forward to seeing them on :)
I cant wait to get them back and on either, its very handy to have another set of wheels to give me the flexibility to get it done

Car thrown a 16804 fault code again today bringing on the CEL
Catalyst bank 1 below threshold, i'm running a blueflame 3" DP and 100 cell race cat and have been for the last 18 months but this fault has only just raised its head in the last month and i keep clearing it
After some browsing it could be either a dying lambda or a leak in the exhaust system.
I have noticed over the last week the car feels a bit rougher and seems to transmit more vibration through to the cabin so wonder if there has been some movement causing a leak in the exhaust.
It seems to flag this fault when tootling through town or coasting along, i had a 70 mile blast on some nice a roads on the weekend and it never reared its head until sat in traffic driving to work
I'm assuming if i wanted to log the lambda i should log post cat one, is this block 032? and what kind of readings should i be getting on this?
What the best way to test the exhaust for leaks, just get under it whilst running and feel around the joints?

Sounds like the lambda mate, running rough just like mine did when it went over a year or so ago. Was the pre cat one, same code.

Sounds like it could be, been doing a bit more reading and it could be a split in the PCV system too
Since i've fitted the my catch can but not bought the pipework yet i think this should be the first port of call, especially as its quite oily round there, so could be split

How have I missed all this, fair play! So we have 2 4wd conversions on the go in one forum.

I have always said if the LCR came in 4wd guise it would be perfect.

A brief update before i go off to bed but thanks to Phill for dropping off and collecting my wheels from the powdercoaters.
Its all done and the colour............Candy Red
A few sneaky peeks before they go on the car, just got to get the tyres put on over the next few days and remove the coating from the taper where the wheel bolts sit
