i thought it was laggy too i can hear the turbo sppoling at just past 2000rpm and then it really kicks in just before 3000 rpm

i am out logging her tonight at about 8 so i would say about 10 i will have some logs on here if you guys are awake then

At power engineering, the load was non existent on the rollers. Mine only did 270lbft at 1.45bar sustained. Runs were about 5 second only. The opperator only did 1 run on mine, as he said it wouldn't dip bellow 13:1 AF.
Odd, as it runs 12:1 on the road under full load. No bleedin load on the rollers.
Ignore the torque figures for the fwd cars from that day.

oops quite a big cut and paste that one, but i also had the following fault code come up "16487 Mass air flow g70 too high PO103-35-10 Intermittent"

anyone know what that means

wierd thing is my car felt like it was flying 2 nights ago it felt smooth, last night it didnt feel the same is that where the car is just adapting to the map or not, simon put it on boost 7 timing 6 do you think i could up the timing and lower the boost looking at the timing on this next post

also if my maf was saying that it was pulling 219g/s is there a chance that my car could have been running lean or rich dont know what one it would be i would say rich as there is more air going into it or is it nothing to do with that

I've seen 204 before, I've been seeing low-mid 190s, although I've not logged it since I cleaned my rather bogging filter...

Doesn't look like a gear change on that log though? 204 at 5400 which is where Ben's was high before.

That boost log doesn't look like you put your foot down anywhere :confused:

AFAIK, only if your MAF was reading wrong would you have a rich or lean issue. I would guess that your MAF is/was overreading, so it'll be running rich. You can log some other stuff to tell you if it's running rich/lean, but you'll need someone else to interpret the results :clown:

If your timing log was done at the same time as the boost log, it doesn't tell us much.

I'd leave it alone for a bit - I'm sure there's a reason they set it to B7T6. Although you could do what I did and try and log each setting and look at the results.

yeah i dont understand it at all, i understand that my maf must have been playing up to pull 219.36 and to be honest it did start to worry me as it was climbing each night i logged it. There isnt a gear change there as you can tell from the next 2 time frames.

The boost seems to be all over the place it doesnt look as if i gunned it anywhere and i have no explanation for that as you can see the rpm at the side to prove i was gunning it.

The timing is still good i havnt logged temps which is what i want to do as running more boost will increase temps wont it???

But i am going to leave it a few days let the car adapt and carry on logging to see what happens, does anyone have any idea what that fault code means??????

I didn't look at your revs :rolleyes: but it doesn't look like it was requesting any boost - I'm guessing it was in limp mode when you were logging, either because of the MAF code you mention, or because it overboosted (actual exceeded requested) which put it in limp mode and threw that MAF code.

If you do a search on that MAF code, it gets mentioned a lot with overboost situations, but with another code also thrown at the same time...

but it doesnt feel like it is in limp mode as i was holding off my mates s3 with revo stg2 last night albeit it is faster but mine was still holding it off so i dont think it is in limp mode

As phil said those logs you are just pootling along! You need to use the marker buttom at the start and end (or start and stop, what ever is easy then when you look at the logs it makes more sense) of a 4th gear run 40 - 100 so that you get to see consistant result, not this going through the gear stuff which confuses matters!

Also only log 1 block at a time to increase sample rate!

It might not have been when you raced your mate, but it was when you did the logs you posted.

there is no way it was in limp mode when i raced my mate as i raced 20min after i did the log without resetting it or turning the engine off, here is another log i did last night although it is only 12 sec long it starts in 3rd gear at the top of a slip road then into 4th, by the way is there any logs that i can do that will help solve is and what are the best conditions i.e uphill 40 - 100 in 4th or what? cheers
